Primer Use

  • Best when: Common as part of fast return systems. Polyurea and MMA primers enable rapid installation schedules with minimal cure time before body coat application.
  • Watch out: Surface prep must be meticulous these chemistries are unforgiving of contamination or moisture on the substrate.

Build and Body Coat Use

  • Best when: Membranes and intermediate layers. These chemistries form the structural core in waterproofing and rapid repair applications where speed is critical.
  • Watch out: Pot life and working time can be extremely short. Crew size and coordination must match the rapid set characteristics.

Topcoat Use

  • Best when: Wear coats depending on system. Often specified as the finish layer in high traffic areas where rapid return to service is required.
  • Watch out: Confirm the topcoat formulation is designed for the specific wear conditions not all fast cure products have equivalent durability.
